I can’t say enough about the kindness and professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Shannon and the Eternal Pawprints staff. Making the decision to let a cherished pet go is an agonizing and emotionally demanding process. Dr. Shannon and her team helped us through this with sensitivity and understanding even offering follow-up grief counseling if we felt the need. These are very special people to whom we owe a debt of eternal gratitude.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Shannon and the compassion, kindness, dignity, and love she showed Toby and our family during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. Saying goodbye to my beloved son (dog) Toby was not easy but having Dr. Shannon come to our home allowed us to say goodbye to him peacefully, in the place where he felt safe and loved, surrounded by the people who loved him most. She treated Toby with gentleness and respect, and she took the time to explain everything to us, answered any and all questions, and made us never feel rushed. From the moment Dr. Shannon arrived, there was something incredibly comforting about her. She was so warm, gentle, compassionate and understanding. Honestly, it felt like we've known her our whole lives. That is how naturally wonderful she made us feel. She treated Toby with such tenderness and dignity, and she treated us with the same care. She gave us the time and space to be with him, to love on him, and to say our goodbyes. She understood that Toby wasn't simply a pet - he was our beloved family member. Dr. Shannon, thank you for making one off the hardest days of our lives a little more peaceful. We will forever be grateful for the care, kindness and for helping Toby leave this world peacefully, and surrounded by love. It takes a very special person to help a family through something so heartbreaking with such warmth and grace. We will forever be grateful that you were the person who helped Toby on his final journey. You gave him such a beautiful, peaceful goodbye, and that is a gift we will carry with us always. Thank you, Dr. Shannon, from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget your warmth, kindness nor the compassion you showed our sweet Toby.

Losing our girl, Rosie, was so difficult. Dr. Shannon was kind, extremely competent, and said all the right things. Having this service at home, under her favorite tree, was a gift. We’re so appreciative. Thank you again, Dr. Shannon. With gratitude, John and Nancy.

Dr.Shannon was absolutely amazing! She took the time to explain everything that was going to happen and explained what was happening while the event was happening! She encouraged me to love on Raven while she was sedated and explained that Raven could still hear my voice and encouraged me to pet her and to tell her how much I loved her. She stayed and gently confirmed Raven’s passing, she had genuine condolences and gave me a hug and assured me that if I needed anything to not hesitate to reach out. She genuinely cares for the client and cares for the pet she’s euthanizing. She understood that I was frantic and had so many questions and patiently answered my questions about what was used during the euthanasia process. She explained that Raven was not going to feel anything but love and comfort, she was not feeling pain or discomfort. After Raven passed she did a complimentary clay paw print of Raven’s paw before she left to let me have a piece of Raven with me forever. Thank you again Dr. Shannon for being an absolute saint and providing the service you do.
